The Brownsburg baseball team jumped out to a 4-0 lead on Lafayette Jeff on Friday night en route to a 9-2 victory. Alex McGowan was 3-for-5 with 3 RBI. The teams play again this morning at 11am at Brownsburg.
The Ball State softball team swept Akron yesterday by scores of 7-0 and 3-0 to clinch the MAC West title. They host Ohio for single games on Saturday and Sunday to complete the regular season.
The Ball State baseball team's game against Western Michigan was suspended in the 4th inning with BSU down 1-0. The game will resume on Saturday and game two of the series will follow.
