Brownsburg 12's - On Saturday, Brownsburg plays Ben Davis. Both teams are undefeated and are stingy in giving up runs. Brownsburg gave up 1 run in three games of pool play while Ben Davis only gave up 2. It should be a good match up between the top two teams in the district.
Brownsburg 13's - Played Southmont last night for the District title in Danville. I do not have the results yet.
The Braves got another win while the Phillies and Mets both lost, which gives Atlanta a 5 game lead in the NL East. Newly acquired Alex Gonzalez had a double and a walk in his Brave debut.

BBurg little league update
12's - Tonight they will play the winner of Tuesday's Broad Ripple/Zionsville game. This will be Brownsburg's first game in the double-elimination bracket.
13's - Lost to Southmont on Tuesday. They will play Southmont again on Thursday in a winner-take-all game.
14-15's - Lost to Eagledale on Tuesday and were eliminated from the tourney.
I read that the NL won the All-Star game, so when the Braves make it to the World Series they will have home-field advantage....

Brownsburg Little Legaue update
Brownsburg 10's - beaten by Ben Davis on Monday in the single-elimination tourney.
Brownsburg 11's - beaten by Zionsville on Monday, eliminating the team from the tourney.
Brownsburg 12's - Play on Wednesday after getting the bye in the double-elimination bracket.
Brownsburg 13's - Play Southmont today in the finals. Brownsburg needs to win one of the possible two games to advance.
Brownsburg 14/15's - Beat WDT on Monday to advance to the finals. Must beat Eagledale twice to advance to the next round.
Oh yeah, the MLB all-star game is tonight......this time it counts......and I really don't care.

Little League tournament season is underway
Here is a recap of the Brownsburg Little League's tournaments so far:
Brownsburg 9 White - Did not fare very well going 0-3 in pool play. Had a 30-72 scoring deficit in the three games including a 42-18 loss against Zionsville 10 White.
Brownsburg 9 Purple - Went 1-2 in pool play. Beat Tri-West's 10 year old team, but lost to Danville 10's and the Zionsville 9 year olds. Were outscored 18-35 in the three games.
Brownsburg 10 Purple - Went 2-1 in pool play and advanced to the elimination round. Beat the Tri-West 9's and Westlane-Delaware Trail teams. Lost to the Zionsville Green 10's by a score of 8-6. The team plays Monday against Ben Davis in an elimination game.
Brownsburg 11 - The team is 1-1 so far in the double-elimination tournament. They play Zionsville in an elimination game on Monday.
Brownsburg 12 - Went 3-0 in pool play while only giving up 1 run. The double-elimination bracket starts today, but the team has a bye and will not play until Tuesday.
Brownsburg 13 - Are 3-0 in the double-elimination bracket and await the Eagle Creek/Southmont winner in the finals. BBurg only has to win one of the possible two games to advance to the next round.
Brownsburg 14s-15s - Have a 1-1 record in the double-elimination tournament so far. They play Westlane-Deleware Trail on Monday in an elimination game. WDT is the team that beat them earlier in the bracket, so it looks like a tough road for BBurg.
