Short post, busy weekend

The Atlanta Braves beat the New York Mets, 6-3. Jair Jurrjens gave up 2 hits in 6 innings to get the win. The bullpen shut down the Mets over the last three innings by not allowing any batters to reach base. Kelly Johnson was 2-3 with 4 RBI. Gregor Blanco had 3 hits. Mark Teixeira and Brian McCann had 2 hits each. Bobby Cox was ejected for the 136th time in his career, extending his all-time record.

Ball State beat Western Michigan, 11-4. Tyler Pritchard gave up 1 run in 6 innings for the win. BSU hit four home runs. Dean Anna was 2-4 with 3 RBI, 3 runs, a triple, and a homer. Wayne Bond, Zach Dygert, and TJ Baument (a Brownsburg High School alum) each had a home run. Ball State is 23-15 and 8-5 in the MAC.

I don't have the Brownsburg score from last night, but I will post it as soon as I can find it.
