Bulldog boys can't recover from slow start, the girls have a chance to win the HCC

The Brownsburg boys basketball team was behind 21-3 to start the game and could not recover, losing to Noblesville 54-41. Kurtis Runyon scored 18 points to lead the Bulldogs. It was a physical game as at least three players were removed from the game for short time for blood. Torrey Nibbs added 8 points for BBurg while Scott Hathaway scored 7. Brownsburg is now 3-12 for the season. They host Westfield next Friday night.

The Brownsburg girls basketball team has a huge HCC game tonight at Fishers. A BBurg win and a Lafayette Jeff loss would give the Bulldogs the conference title. My prediction is a 47-45 win for BBurg. The Massey ratings say that Fishers will win 52-47. Fishers is 10th in the Massey Ratings while Brownsburg is 20th. Brownsburg is 2-4 against the top 32 teams in Massey and Fishers is 2-2 against that same group. Sagarin gives a 4 point advantage to Fishers. It should be a great game.
