Both Brownsburg teams face tough conference battles this weekend

The Brownsburg boys basketball team (3-11) travels to 10-2 Noblesville tonight for a matchup at the Mill. Sagarin says that the margin will be 27 points for the Millers. I think it will be closer to 20, with a score of 60-40.

On Saturday night, the girls basketball team will travel to Fishers in a game that could decide the HCC conference title. A Brownsburg win combined with a Lafayette Jeff loss would give the Bulldogs the outright conference title. Any other combination would give the title to the Bronchos. Sagarin says the margin will be 3 points for Fishers. Using common opponents, I say the Bulldogs win by two, 47-45.

Lance Lynn has been given a non-roster invite to the St. Louis Cardinals spring training.

Drew Storen was ranked #40 in MLB Network's top 50 prospects. Storen has also been given a non-roster invite to spring training.
