So, NOW we start playing

The Braves won their second straight game last night over the D-Backs 11-6. Jorge Campillo had an average outing giving up 5 runs in 6-1/3 innings, but he got some help from the bullpen. Will Ohman and Julian Tavarez each picked up a hold, while Jeff Bennett got the save. However, it was the offense that gave a great effort last night. Casey Kotchman and Martin Prado each had 3 hits and Prado had 3 RBI. Four different players had at least two hits and four players had at least 2 RBI. Game three of the series is tonight at 810p. Jair Jurrjens pitches for the Braves and Dan Haren pitches for the D-Backs.

As of this writing, the US Women's basketball team is crushing the Czech Republic 49-31 in the second half.

In the Little League Great Lakes regional final tonight, Jeffersonville, Indiana will play Mount Vernon, Ohio for the right to advance to the Little League World Series. Jeffersonville beat Mount Vernon 2-0 in the very first game of the regional. The game will be on ESPN at 7pm.
