The Braves lost to Washington last night, 6-2. Tom Glavine started the game after returning from his first stint on the DL in his career. He gave up 2 runs in 6 innings. However, Blaine Boyer came on in relief and gave up 4 runs while only getting one out in the seventh. Chipper Jones had two hits. He is batting .432 and leads the NL in batting by 70 points.
Brownsburg starts it's home and home series with arch-rival Avon today. Today's game is at Avon, while tomorrow's game is at Mary Beth Rose Park in Brownsburg. Avon is currently leading the conference with a 7-1 record. Brownsburg and Noblesville are tied for second with 6-2 conference records.
The primary election in Indiana is 6 days away. Hillary Clinton needs to win that primary, or she'll have a tough time beating Barack Obama in the delegate count. Like I said a week ago, Clinton should have dropped out of the race already, but she seems to think that the votes in Michigan and Florida should count even though nobody was allowed to campaign in those states and she was the only candidate on the ballot in Michigan. If Clinton does win the nomination, I would seriously think about voting for someone else. I wouldn't vote for McCain, though. I would probably just leave my vote for president blank.
