The sectional semi-finals of the boys basketball tourney is tonight. There are some decent matchups in class 4A. North Central faces Warren Central, Warsaw/Concord, Valpo/LaPorte, HSE/Noblesville are just a few of the 15+ win teams that face each other tonight.
The Washington Redskins cut a bunch of players last night, including many starters. Antwann RandleEl, Ladell Betts, Fred Smoot, Cornelius Griffin, Rock Cartwright, Randy Thomas, and Todd Collins were the notable cuts. Chris Samuels announced his retirement. Cartwright, RandleEl, Betts, Griffin, and Smoot each played significant roles last year. Thomas and Samuels have been stalwarts on the offensive line for many years. New coach, new team, new GM....maybe this year will be better than a 4-12 record!
