Lindsey Dall scored 8, Ryne Carr 6, Leah Freestone 4 and Alaura McKemie one, to round out the scoring. The Dogs only led by 4 at the end of three quarters, but Mavunga scored 7 points in the quarter to lead to Bulldogs to victory. BBurg plays Decatur Central on Saturday afternoon at 10am. The two teams played in the first game of the season with DC beating the Dogs 69-53, although it was a 5 to 9 point game until late in the 4th quarter.

After Center Grove's defeat on Tuesday, the MIC received another defeat when Carmel was defeated by Hamilton SE last night. HSE took a 47-42 lead with 3 minutes left, and did not score the rest of the game. Carmel hit 3 free throws, but missed two front ends of 1-and-1's and Torrie Thornton missed a shot that would have tied the game with a few seconds left. HSE will play Fishers on Friday night, 30 minutes after the Noblesville/Westifeld game.

HCC champ Lafayette Jeff was defeated by McCuctcheon last night, 47-42. That leaves 7 teams from the conference as Zionsville was beaten by Westfield on Wednesday night.

The Brownsburg boys travel to Harrison tonight. BBurg is a 8 point underdog according the the Sagarin ratings. Massey predicts a 53-48 victory for the Raiders.

In baseball news, the Braves have reportedly offered Johnny Damon a 1-year $4 million dollar deal. The deal would give Damon $2 million now and $2 million deferred. Damon could be useful as a veteran leader and a solid outfielder. Plus, it would also give uber-prospect Jason Heyward another year to hone his skills in the minor leagues before he unleashes his fury onto the world.
