A win? What is that?

The Braves finally broke their 4 game losing streak, beating the Red Sox 2-1. Tommy Hanson threw 6 scoreless innings and increased his overall scoreless streak to 20 innings. The normal big three out of the bullpen (Moylan, Soriano, and Gonzalez) plus Eric O'Flaherty shut down the Red Sox for the rest of the game. Chipper Jones and Garrett Anderson each had solo home runs while Anderson and Casey Kotchman each had a double. The Braves have a day off today before playing the Phillies on Tuesday. The Braves are 5 games behind in the NL East and 5.5 games back in the wild card race.

Lance Lynn had a decent outing last night, giving up 3 runs in 6 innings with no walks and 7 hits. Lance got a no-decision and 6-2 on the season for the AA Springfield Cardinals. Drew Storen threw 2 innings yesterday for the Class A Hagerstown Suns. He gave up 1 earned run in 2 innings of work while striking out 2. In 5 innings, Drew has 7 strikeouts and a 7.20 ERA.
