Brownsburg girls basketball team keeps rollin' on

The Lady Bulldogs disposed of Avon last night, 61-44. Lindsey Dall continued her streak of great play, leading the team with 17 points. Ryne Carr scored 12, Stephanie Mavunga 10, and Allison DeVaney 7. DeVaney's 7 points were a season-high, and I believe a career-high for her. She hasn't been getting a lot of varsity playing time lately, but she made her minutes count on Monday night. The Dogs led 16-7 after one quarter and had the lead up to 20 points in the 3rd quarter. Avon cut the lead back to 10 points in the middle of the 4th quarter, but their leading scorer (Haley Austin, 19 points) fouled out with 3 minutes to go, ending the charge. BBurg is now 5-1 in the HCC and 13-4 overall. They host Zionsville on Wednesday night.
